A 12x10 negative. A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Perthshire (1893) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is in the livery of the British India Steam Navigation Co Ltd and is flying a pilot flag. She is loaded down to her marks and an unidentified steam launch is alongside her forward well deck.
