Pilot (1905)
A 12x10 negative. A port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the steam launch Pilot (1905) under way in the Thames estuary with a party of about twenty pilots on board, all looking at the photographer. She is flying the house flag of the Gravesend Pilots Association under the Pilot pennant and has a civilian union Jack on her forestay. An awning is rigged aft.
