Prince (1859)

A whole plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just forward of the beam, of the wood paddle tug Prince (1859) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. A ketch rigged vessel is alongside her starboard side. The original negative has been discarded and a 10x8 safety film negative has been produced from a 12x10 photographic print made in the 1950s from the original negative.
