A 12x10 negative. A starboard broadside view of the passenger liner Salsette (1908) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is painted white with buff funnels and canvas screens have been erected along the promenade deck. An unidentified Watkins steam tug is alongside aft. Ten small schoolboys are at the water's edge in the foreground. Tilbury is in the background.
