Scotia (1862)
A whole plate negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the cable ship Scotia (1862) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has an awning rigged aft and she has double topsails on both masts. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1488 and G1715 were taken on the same occasion.
