Taroba (1888)
A whole plate negative. A starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Taroba (1888) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames prior to her maiden voyage to Brisbane. She has three yards on her foremast. A twin funnelled tug is alongside her port side aft. The steam passenger launch Maude (1886) is at anchor in the foreground. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background.
