A port quarter view of the general cargo ship Tellus (1882) moored at Harwich having been interception in the North Sea, carrying German coal from Rotterdam to Sweden. She is carrying her national flag colours paint in stripes on the bow and below the poop deck with 'TELLUS STOCKHOLM' painted in white on a black background on the broadside below the funnel.

Aurora's log records her being at sea intercepting and examining steamers on 14 September before returning to Harwich in the evening.
