A 12x10 negative. A port broadside view of the hospital ship The Princess of Wales (1874) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has four lifeboats on her port side, one of which is in the water alongside the bow. Note the ship's name is officially "The Princess of Wales" and not "Princess of Wales". Tilbury is in the background.
