Celebrate Christmas with Royal Museums Greenwich

Our magical open air ice rink will be taking centre stage once again this winter and will be available for private buy outs for up to 350 skaters. Set in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the rink is surrounded by iconic architecture, with views of Greenwich Park to the south and the glittering lights of Canary Wharf to the north, providing a backdrop of some of the best views in London. Twin your skate with an event at one of our museums and give your staff the Christmas treat they deserve! 

For an out of this world experience, the Peter Harrison Planetarium offers guests the opportunity to enjoy an immersive Planetarium show hosted by one of Royal Museums Greenwich's world class astronomers, before dinner and dancing for up to 80 guests. Gaze out over London’s Christmas lights from the top of Greenwich Park. 

For a more intimate festive treat, the Royal Observatory offers up to 60 guests an exclusive space for dinner or for a standing soiree, go up to 120 and enjoy views of the Christmas lights in London from the top of Greenwich Park. Enhance the evening with a planetarium show or a private skate at the Queen's House Ice Rink for an added thrill.
