Financial Times journalist Ajesh Patalay hosts a panel discussion with Creative Director, Sachini Imbuldeniya, Curator/Writer Priya Khanchandani. and DJ/Producer, Zar from Daytimers, featured in Pioneers: A Renaissance in South Asian Creativity.

The panel will explore their experiences of breaking boundaries and forging new paths. What does it mean to move away from (some might say "escape") medicine, law or engineering - those stereotypical South Asian professions so often urged on us by our parents - to pursue a career in the creative industries?

What does it mean to be a South Asian creative (often a minority voice) in the current creative landscape?

And how does South Asian representation and community across creative spheres help to shift expectations and forge new possibilities for the future?

Join Ajesh and the panel at the National Maritime Museum to learn more.
