Performers

Catherine and Elizabeth Rajhans were born in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2003, and began learning the harp at the age of five. They studied at the Shamo Music School in Kyiv with Yelizaveta Herasina for five years, and later continued their studies at the Chopin Music School in Moscow with Lena Watson.
They participated and received nominations in many international competitions during that time, and later returned to Kyiv and, through Junior Trinity, took an A Level distance learning course.
Catherine and Elizabeth are currently undergoing their third year of a bachelors’ degree at Trinity Laban under the guidance of Gabriella Dall'Olio, Head of Harp. They performed at the Human Rights Conference at the Foreign Office in 2022, and London Fashion Week in 2023, and gave several harp recitals across the UK during their study.
They received the Richard Harrison Trust Scholarship and are the winners of the John Marson Harp Prize for Outstanding Musicianship this year.
