This Journal is actually by Margaret (1714 - 1788) wife of Rear Admiral Edmund Thorpe Fowke though title page says Admiral Thomas Thorpe Fowke. Copied from the original manuscript by her grand-daughter Elizabeth Fowke 1778-1844. Makes reference to her son's and husband going to both the West Indies and East Indies.
