In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Some time ago two French Ships of War, the CONTENT and TRIDENT, were taken in the Straights and employed in HM's Service and entered in the List of the Royal Navy.
We have already given you the Valuation, as well as the number of Guns the Ships had on board when taken, and we direct you to make the allowances granted by the last Act of Parliament in these cases, to be made to such persons entitled to the same by virtue of the said Act.
