Including notes on warships in the Sheerness and Chatham Division of the Home Fleet, visits to shore establishments, the torpedo school HMS Actaeon, boy artificers on HMS Tenedos, gymnastics and physical training, ordnance and magazines, Thames and Medway defences, sailors’ homes, fleet auxiliaries, gunnery and torpedo ratings, naval works, oil fuel, and recreation committees. Also a table showing tonnage added to the Navy in 1893-1906 and notes on a lecture by Commander Kiyokazu Abo, Imperial Japanese Navy, at the Royal Naval War College, 1907.
