Notes on warship building, naval works and other subjects, circa 1894-1898.

Notes made by Noel as a Junior Naval Lord:
(1) Notes on papers by Sir William H. White, Director of Naval Construction, 23 April and 31 May 1894, and costs of the warship building programme.
(2) Notes on progress of the Naval Works Act 1895, including docks and moles, depots, coal stores, victualling yards, Channel tunnel (experimental work) and hospitals.
(3) Envelope marked ‘Secret P. for W.’ containing Noel's proposals for the organization of the various fleets, squadrons and reinforcements in preparation for war.
(4) Two additional sheets of notes.
