Annual Report for 1941.

Annual report 1941, annotated on the front sheet by John Morton, Managing Director: 'I started drafting the Annual Report in Rangoon but events took charge. Here is what I had written. JM'. The company had been very short of clerical staff since the bombing of Rangoon in December 1941, so this report is later than usual and is missing data for the last two weeks of the year. Morton describes the effects of the war, politics, and particularly poor river conditions on the company, and then follows a summary of finances for the various services provided by the company.
