The first sheet includes a written history tracing the name Hoste back to its first mention in 1359, with the tree diagram beginning at Jacques Hoste who was born in the sixteenth century, and continuing until William Hoste's generation. The second sheet continues the tree down the lines of William Hoste and two of his brothers, George Charles and James Hoste.
