Miscellaneous Mundy family papers, 1811-1869.
Papers relating to Mundy's father General Godfrey Basil Meynell Mundy, mother Sarah Brydges Rodney, sister Rose (Rosamund) Mundy and brother Major-General Pierrepont Henry Mundy:
(1) Letter to certify that Colonel Mundy of the 3rd Dragoons is in a very dangerous state of health and should be moved to England immediately, signed by J. Hosack, Surgeon to the forces at Belém, Lisbon, dated 25 October 1811.
(2) On His Majesty’s Service envelope addressed to General Mundy at Clifton, Bristol, stampmarked 1835.
(3) Small engraving showing a view of Lucerne, attached to notes made by Mundy’s mother. Including arrangements for looking after a key while Mundy was on foreign service in 1867-1869.
