Typed History of Nevil Maskelyne and Pamplet.
Two copies of printed pamphlet: ‘Notes on the Maskelyne Family and their Home.’ one plain text, the other with annotations and handwritten inserts. Biographical details of the family going back to Robert Maskelyne (15th century). Written by Thereza Mary Story-Maskelyne, wife of NM’s oldest grandson, Mervyn Herbert Nevil Story-Maskelyne. History of the family estates. Included is a handwritten, scrapbook format titled History of Basset Down House, written in 1916 with plans of the property, sketches of building features, contents of house. Also is a printed pamphlet titled 'Notice sur la vie et les travaux de M. Maskelyne, lue a la séance publique de l’institute national de France, du 4 Janvier, 1813, Par M. Le Chevalier Delambre, Secretaire Perpetuel.' English translation is published The Philosophical Magazine, 42, 183 (July 1813), available online.
