Collection of printed documents belonging to George Page.

A printed document titled Memories of my Father and Mother (George Foster and Mary Braithwaite) by Herbert M. Braithwaite; a list of Subscribers to a Presentation to Fr George Braithwaite Page on his retirement as M.O.D for the city of Exeter 31 August 1950; three menu cards one of which is in French on P&O SNCo SS KHIVA 1914. The other two of the menu cards, presumably made by Page or another British officer, with Japanese themes. One features silhouettes of Japanese women holding red lanterns; menu items include ‘Clear Soup’, ‘Fillet of beef’ and ‘Jellies’. Another features a Japanese shrine gate (torii) with a woman wearing a kimono and holding a parasol; menu items include ‘Pigeon Egg Salad’, ‘Roast Beef’ and ‘Sardines on Toast’.’ Also included is an ink drawing of a pirate with the word ‘me’ on it and a newspaper clipping dated 1 March 1957 titled ‘Fought in the Boxer Rising’ on Captain Henry Eilbeck Hillman.
