Letter from the Royal United Service Institution, 1860.
Letter sent to Dobbie by Captain Boughey Burgess, Secretary of the Royal United Service Institution, London, dated 3 April 1860. It confirms that the fragment of flag from HMS VICTORY (1765), later torn up and appropriated by the seamen who carried it in the funeral procession of Lord Nelson, has been deposited in the RUSI Museum and thanks Dobbie for his contribution.
