Personal Letters from and to the Charles Cornwallis.
A series of letters to and from Charles Cornwallis (William Cornwallis’ brother) a including a letter from Robert Abercromby Governor of Bombay with proceedings of a Court Marshal; a letter to Lord Mulgrave to Earl Cornwallis about Captain Cornwallis’ action at the West Indies and a series of letters to William Cornwallis. Also is a letter about the Victory over Tippo 24 April 1792 were he dictates the terms of peace and for which he was created a Marquis.
