Uncatalogued: 14 Journals of paymaster hill and an account book, dated late nineteenth century.

The box contains 14 diaries and a folder containing a cash book. The diaries cover the period between 1877 and 1893, with a volume originally meant for 1894 being used for 1891. The majority of these books are "Letts's Diaries", described as a colonial, rough diary. The accounts folder contains a booklet title "Monthly Cash Account", and related to a sloop by the name of ROSARIO, currently docked in Australia [?]. The account covers disbursement, listing date of payment, form of currency used as well as the specific nature of each disbursement.
