Ring binder E4: Channel Fleet and north coast of Spain, 1812.
Ring binder containing handwritten and typescript notes, mainly extracts from letters sent by flag officers of the Channel Fleet and secretaries of the Admiralty in 1812. The original letters can be found under the references ADM 1/150-151 and ADM 2/1375 at The National Archives. There are also some notes from the captain’s logs of HMS VENERABLE (1808), HMS ABERCROMBIE (captured 1809), HMS QUEEN (1769) and HMS LATONA (1781), between August 1812 and September 1812.
