Ring binder containing handwritten notes on published sources and a checklist of references for Admiralty records to be seen at the Public Records Office, all relating to Owen’s research on The War of 1812. There are also lists of references relating to the calendar of papers of Earl Bathurst, the despatches of the Duke of Wellington, and the correspondence of Napoleon.
