Ring binder containing handwritten and typescript notes, mainly extracts from letters sent by Admiral Sir William Young, commander-in-chief in the North Sea, secretaries of the Admiralty, and secretaries of state, in the period 1813-1814. The original letters can be found under the references ADM 1/572-573, ADM 2/1376-1380 and ADM 1/4224-4225 at The National Archives.
