Document showing the return of the number of troops of all arms including followers, women and children which have been transported by sea in steam vessels with and without boats in tow; in sailing vessels of the Indian Navy in hired transports, and in country craft from the 1 January 1838 to the month of June 1844. As called for in Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Mcloilld's letter to the Marine Department Bombay 31 May 1845.
