Account of the search for SMS DRESDEN, 1914 - 1915.
Account of the search for the German light cruiser SMS DRESDEN (1907) in the Magellan Straits by Captain Robert F.U.P. Fitzgerald, who served as gunnery lieutenant on the light cruiser HMS BRISTOL (1910) in 1913-1915. He describes the search for the DRESDEN after the Battle of the Falkland Islands on 8 December 1914 and the damage sustained when the BRISTOL hit a submerged rock off the Chilean coast in the following month. Handwritten in pencil on loose sheets (14 pages).
