Papers relating to Thursfield's appointments in the Mediterranean in the period from 1922 to 1925, including his command of HMS CONCORD (1916) and then HMS COMUS (1914), and marriage to Celia E. Taylor at Malta. A letter from the Admiralty regarding the endangering of the target towing ship HMS CHRYSANTHEMUM (1917) during competitive firing, dated 14 February 1925. Also letters from the Swiss, French and Italian legations in Athens, dated February and April 1925, relating to Thursfield’s role with the British Naval Mission to Greece.
