Agreements for wayleave, relating to the attachment and maintenance of telephone wires.
(1) Agreement for wayleave, between The Sailors’ Home and The Edison Telephone Co. Ltd., relating to the fixing of a porcelain holder for a telephone wire, dated 23 December 1879.
(2) Agreement for wayleave, between The Sailors’ Home and The United Telephone Co. Ltd., relating to the fixing of a pole to carry telephone wires, dated 27 November 1880.
(3) Agreement with the Postmaster-General for the attachment and maintenance of wires by means of brackets to the south chimney of the Board of Trade offices in Well Street, dated 1 April 1896 (with envelope).
(4) Agreement for wayleave, relating to the fixing of brackets on the exterior of The Sailors’ Home for carrying wires between the Trafalgar Eating House and a point between The Sailors’ Home and the carpenters shop of The Co-operative Wholesale Society Ltd. in Wellclose Square, dated 4 February 1898.
(5) Agreement between The Sailors’ Home and The National Telephone Co. Ltd., for the fixing of an attachment to carry telephone wires, dated 14 February 1905.
