Includes two drafts of a typescript letter dated 16 Nov 1969 by Oman, to the editor of ‘The Times’ entitled "Nelson's Death", which was published in the newspaper on 18 Nov 1969, in response to an article by Doctor Henry W Durant, entitled "Was Nelson a suicide?". Also postcard received from Oliver Warner, 19 Nov 1969, praising her published letter. The postcard is of a monochrome reproduction of the portrait of the Duke of Wellington by Francisco de Goya, at the National Gallery, London. Also includes letters from Dr Derek A. Lubbock and Sir Basil Liddle Hart.
