Two letters from Admiral Rodney to Lord Lyttelton about the blockade around Le Havre.
Letter from George Brydges Rodney to Lord Lyttleton dated 20th October and 19th November 1759; the letters contain information on the French at Le Havre, at the mouth of the River Seine. From 1759 Rodney concentrated on his blockade of the French coast around Le Havre.

William Henry Lyttelton, 1st Baron Lyttelton (1724 – 1808) was a British peer and politician. George Brydges Rodney, 1st Baron Rodney, (1718 – 1792) was a British naval officer. He is best known for his commands in the American War of Independence, particularly his victory over the French at the Battle of the Saintes in 1782.
