This series includes unofficial material relating to Lewin's naval career. In the main it comprises folders of background material on various topics, collected by Lewin. Many feature official government reports and papers. They generally belong to the latter part of his career, when he was often in demand as a public speaker and wrote articles for the press. Topics covered include the Falklands conflict, the Trident Nuclear Missile programme and defence policy and organisation.
