Two letters concerning the Dutch prize DORDWYK, 1795, from Captain William Essington of HMS SCEPTRE (1781) and Captain William Taylor Money of the GENERAL GODDARD (1782).
Three letters relating to the WALTHAMSTOW (1799), 1807, one from Lord Lake, Commander-in-Chief of the Army in India, who was a passenger on the return voyage; one from his son-in-law; and one from R.W. Wigram concerning precautions necessary in paying off the ship. Also an account relating to the WALTHAMSTOWE.
Ten documents relating to the voyage of the GLATTON (1796), 1814-1815. Consisting of two drafts of letters from Upton to Wigram, a manifest of cargo loaded at St. Helena, an account of teas from Larken & Co., and six documents relating to legal actions in which the GLATTON was involved on charges of landing gunpowder and of smuggling.
Three additional papers and a book of farm accounts.
