This cadet's manual, from Dr. Nina Baker's time as a sea cadet, contains well-organised and detailed notes relating to course material. It includes drawings showing how to fit TCU into ships, colour-coded diagrams of pump rooms, detailed locations and logs of all emergency equipment, a map of the Isle of Scilly, and a copy of Nina’s course schedule and revision papers. Her work was complemented by her tutor as being of very high quality and excellent standard.
