Manuscript retained copy outgoing order & letterbook on board the JAMES GALLEY frigate by Sir Cloudesley Shovell, 29 June 1683 to 8 September 1683. Accounts for caulking and refitting his squadron at Lisbon in April 1684. Personal account book recording his trading activities with merchants and other officers (including the Duke of Grafton and Sir John Narbrough) 1684 to 1688.
