Leather bound volume containing a midshipman's journal kept by Frederick Arthur Buckley between 1 January 1906 and 31 June 1907. Following on from BUC/1/1, it covers the rest of the commission of the cruiser HMS CRESCENT (1892) on the Cape of Good Hope station and ends with her paying off at Portsmouth. The journal includes watercolours, technical drawings and charts.
