Cecil Road School, Gravesend, Kent
A 12x10 negative. The front or east elevation of Cecil Road School looking from the junction of Cecil Road and Northcote Road across the playground showing the two entrances for boys. The school was formally opened by the mayor, Alderman H E Davis, in June 1909 and is made up of two buildings. In the larger there was accommodation for 304 boys and on the first floor a similar number of girls. The smaller building (not in the picture) accommodates 200 infants.
