On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the C.P.Os' mess between 56½ and 61½ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port from 60½ station showing two triple tier bunk units and four kit lockers. Two folding tables are on the deck under the port side bunk unit.
