The photographer is in the bridge wing between 43 and 45 stations on the starboard side of 01 deck looking forward and to starboard from 45 station showing the grenade locker, the ten inch signal projector, the covered azimuth repeater and two loudspeakers on the side screen. An explosives locker is on the left. The ship is berthed port side to the quay and ahead of her alongside the west wall of the basin is the frigate Lincoln (1959), pendant F99. Alongside the north wall of the basin is the heavy repair ship Triumph (1944), pendant A108, and she has the water carrier Freshlake (1942) and stores lighters alongside.
