The photographer is in the P.Os' mess between 73 and 78 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to starboard and aft from 76 station on the centreline showing two triple tier bunk units against the ship's side. A bookshelf, an automatic emergency lantern and an electric fire are against the aft bulkhead. A club fender, four tables and a number of chairs are in the recreation area and kit lockers are in the right foreground.
