On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside South Railway Jetty in Portsmouth Dockyard prior to commissioning on 9 October 1962. The photographer is in the electrical workshop between 46 and 47 stations on the starboard side of 3 deck looking to starboard from the doorway showing a work bench equipped with a vice against the forward bulkhead. Drawers, a cupboard and partitioned shelves are under the bench and sliding door cupboards are above it. A sloping top desk and more cupboards are against the aft bulkhead. Pigeon hole racks are against the ship's side and toolbags and a toolbox are on the deck. A vertical format negative.
