The photographer is in the metadyne compartment between 28 and 32 stations on 3 deck looking to port from the starboard side showing a folding desk, an open hatch, a vertical steel ladder, two wooden cupboards and a cable hanger against the forward bulkhead. Against the ship's side are a starter, a loudspeaker, a relay box and a control panel. Against the aft bulkhead are a fuse panel, a transformer and starter panels. On the deck are the Mark 26 metadyne, the fuse setting metadyne and the 4.5 inch mounting metadyne. A vertical format negative.
