A handwritten Specification for the Amazon (1865), a 4-gun wooden screw sloop, and later for Vestal (1865), Niobe (1866), Dryad (1866) and Daphne (1866). The specification includes alterations in red for Dryad (1866), dated March 1865. Pencil annotations relate to Danae (1867), Blanche (1867), and Eclipse (1867) under its build name of Sappho, all lengthened wooden screw sloops.
