'Thermometer screen'

A view of the thermometer instrument inside the Stevenson screen (the side of the screen is open). The screen is placed on a large wooden packing case and has been tied down by wires to the ground to prevent it being blown over or destroyed by the strong gales that the British Antarctic Expedition experienced at Camp Ridley, Cape Adare.

The original print in the album is captioned 'Thermometer screen'.
