Cloth covered album containing 94 photographs (2 missing), with two per page. The photographs are yellow and faded, with contemporary pencilled captions. The album relates to three themes:
a) C. E. Borchgrevink's private British Antarctic Expedition, 1898-1900 in SOUTHERN CROSS.
b) DISCOVERY (1901) Relief Expedition of either 1902-3 or 1903-4 under Captain Colbeck of the MORNING (1871).
c) Topographical views of Colombo, Port Said, the Suez Canal, Las Palmas, Stewart Island, Hobart and Auckland Island.
