A palm topped hillock on the coast of the island of Bali, Dutch East Indies. The hillock shows signs of being terraced for rice growing. On the left is a higher hill which has rice terraces on the slopes right up to the top. The hills in the background are obscured by low cloud. The photographer is in a boat off the coast.
