The Information Bureau on the quayside at Bridgetown, Barbados
The single storey, flat roofed Information Bureau on a quayside at Bridgetown, Barbados, taken from a boat offshore. The building is partially obscured by a tree and a tall lattice structure that appears to have hoses suspended on it. An open motor boat crewed by uniformed men is alongside the quay and more uniformed men are on shore. It is possible that this is the Harbour Police station. A large steel water or fuel tank on piles is on the quayside on the right. On the left is a pitched roof building of wooden construction which has a vertical boiler outside.
