Schooners berthed in the Careenage, Bridgetown, Barbados.

Schooners berthed alongside the wharves in the Careenage at Bridgetown, Barbados. The photographer is looking west-by-north from the south side of the Chamberlain Bridge. Trafalgar Square is on the right of the picture. The schooners have awnings rigged aft and one of them has her foresail set. The 2 masted schooner Perseverance M (1923) is on the left alongside the south side of the Careenage. A wooden fence and a rectangular framework has been erected on the north side for the building of premises for S.P. Musson Son & Co Ltd.
