A starboard side view of the Donaldson Atlantic Line cruise ship Letitia (1925) anchored off Castries harbour at Saint Lucia, West Indies

A general view of the central tower of the Barceloneta Beach to Montjuic cable car (Transbordador Aeri del Port) on the Muelle de Barcelona in the port of Barcelona. A restaurant is half way up the tower and the Mirador Bar is at the top. To the left of the tower is the domed building of the Reial Club Maritim de Barcelona and a number of passenger and cargo ships are alongside the muelle, including one of the four two-funnelled Canadian Pacific liners Duchess of Atholl (1928), Duchess of Bedford (1928) Duchess of Richmond (1928) and Duchess of York (1929). In the right foreground alongside the Muelle Atarazanas is the Cia. Trasmediterranea cruise ship Ciudad de Barcelona (1929). The photographer is looking south-by-east from a high vantage point with the ornate commercial building at the end of the Muelle de Bosch y Alsina in the left foreground.
